My earliest memories are of sewing, and throughout my life I’ve been drawn to fiber arts of all kinds. My favorites are sewing, embroidery, knitting and crochet. I’ve worked in sewing and alterations professionally since I was 18. (Yikes! Over 30 years now?) I find joy and satisfaction when I am able to use my abilities to create items that are not only lovely and unique, but also practical and useful. I also love to teach sewing, so creating beginner-friendly patterns is another joy of mine.

My business is located in my home - just me and a sewing machine. I must keep a careful balance between building and promoting my little business, and the responsibility of caring for my husband and two girls. I absolutely love interacting with customers, and working together to make items that exactly meet their needs.

I do my best to keep quality high, with sturdy materials and meticulous workmanship. I want the items I make to be useful for a long time. But I also want to keep prices as low as possible, so that they are accessible for most people. I choose materials based on these criteria - the best balance of quality and price. I often recycle clothing and home items into one-of-a-kind bags. Most items in my shop are made and ready to ship. I don’t like to keep people waiting, so orders are shipped as quickly as possible - often the same day they are ordered!
